Good until the last drop....a book review
I reviewed The Quality of Silence. This book was great. It was about a deaf girl and her gorgeous intelligent mother going to Alaska to see their scientist father who police believe died in a far in the great north of Alaska. The wife doesn't believe it to be true and it feels futile, but goes on an adventure on the ice roads to try to find him.
It is a great book, however I did say good until the last drop. The ending left many holes and feel like just ended without tying everything together. I would still recommend this with 3.5 stars.

Another book review
this book was quite short and so sod r me almost too short but in general it was a good book and for sure kept up with the authors style in the many other books I've read by the same author. I would recommend for someone who doesn't have a lot of time for a long book. Busy or something

A girl is a half formed thing
This review is based on a free book by blogging for books.
THis book was soo hard to read. I hate to say that because it has potential but most of the reading is thoughts, and random not full sentence thoughts. it is about mental illness which is a great thing to read more about. I just could not get through any chapter without reading over and over over again and even then it was difficult.
one star.

Another blogging for books review!
Freedom's Child by Jax Miller
First let me tell you I read this book in two days....granted it was a holiday weekend and I didnt have my kids, but still. TWO DAYS. between netflix of Gilmore Girls I read this book and let me tell you, it is slightly "no way can this happen" to "this totally happens". It is about a woman in a witness protection program. Which I am not sure how she got in it since I thought these were always more bigger crime mobsters that witnesses got to be in it, this was not about a big crime mobster. Anyway, It is about her going back and trying to find her children she gave up and all the twists and turns since they ended up on a cult farm.
i think reading this you are thinking...um, what? but it really was a good easy read and i recommend it to anyone. 4 stars!

Book Review - Lincoln in the World
As you can see I havent posted a review in awhile. I keep trying to read this book and CAN NOT finish it, I give up. It is, of course, a fact based book and it doesnt seem to go in order enough for me, so hard to get into it, it seems more like little stories here or there rather then a complete book. It did talk about some things that other books in regards to Lincoln do not go over and I liked that, however I can not tell you how it is at the end because i can not even struggle through it. Do not recommend this to anyone.

Skinny Taste Cookbook
I got to review the Skinny Taste Cookbook for blogging for books. I had been following her on Instagram for awhile and I was soo excited to get the opportunity to review this cookbook. I got the cookbook in hardcover and flipped through it. It had amazing pictures. About 2 out of 3 of the recipes had pictures either initially or in the process or at the end. I made the skinny salisbury steak with mushroom gravy. Kids loved it too. It wasnt the most amazing salisbury steak recipe I have ever had, but really good and a really easy recipe.
I also tryed the cubano-style stuffed pork loin. This was soooo easy and sooo fantastic. they had a picture in the middle of this recipe. Anyway it was fantastic and i will for sure be making it again!
Anyway, I would recommend it to other people for sure! Lots of the ingredients are easy to find, not a lot of odd ingredients, the only downfall of it is that the baked goods or desserts area doesnt look that great to me. But the rest are good.
